railroad tracks

This is the marker that separates the two packs.  It is rather dangerous and can attract coyotes and cougars that follow the tracks.

Olly, a orphan that nobody wanted. A great dane with some serious issues. Even if someone wanted him, the drouble was trying to get him. He was a tricky boy, scared of even the slightest sound.. but who could help it? He was abused not to long ago, it scarred him and changed his once fun loving attitude. He was a double merle harlequin, and the breeders didn't want him. A man came, saying he would take him for free, and he was given to the man. The man starved him, beat him, and did all sorts of cruel things..

Olly escaped though, but it wasn't well thought out. He was roaming the rail road tracks, a dangerous place where he heard rumors of coyote packs stealing foolish pups, or viscous dog packs that would eat you in seconds. Olly was to tired and hungry to care though.. body weak as he slowly walked along the railroad. Luckily it was evening so the air was cool, so he didn't have to suffer from the heat of the afternoon. His nostrils flared occasionally, dreaming of a beautiful feast popping before him.. but those were only dreams..
